Ironline Tactics
Ironline Tactics strips strategy down to what matters: a small map, a handful of units, and no room for waste. Every turn you're deciding whether to push, dig in, or sacrifice a unit to buy time. It reminds me of old handheld war games, but tuned for a phone screen you can read at a glance.
The campaign slowly introduces unit types and terrain rules, and by the midpoint you're juggling supply lines and chokepoints. There's no energy timer gating your play, which I appreciated more than I expected. You can sit down and burn through five missions if you've got the time.
It's not flashy, and the presentation is functional rather than gorgeous. But the puzzle-like missions kept pulling me back, and winning a map I'd failed four times felt genuinely earned.
