About

Ember Hub started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of weird mobile games. At some point we realized we were writing mini-reviews anyway, so we gave them a home. The idea is simple: play the thing properly, then say what it's actually like.

We focus on RPGs and adventure titles because that's where mobile has quietly gotten really good over the last few years. But we don't stop there — if a racing game or a strategy title grabs us, it goes on the list too. The only rule is that someone on the team has to put real hours into it.

Games end up in our catalog for different reasons. Sometimes a reader points us to something obscure, sometimes a title blows up and we want to check if the hype holds. We skip anything we can't finish or at least get deep into, because a two-minute impression isn't a review.

Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we don't run a scoreboard of who published what. If we liked it, we say so. If a grind killed our interest halfway through, we say that too.
